Snoqualmie Falls, Washington The Falls is only 30 minutes from Seattle. It's close proximity to Seattle makes for a convenient show-and-tell opportunity to visitors who are in town for a short time. The 270 foot waterfall is supposed to be 100 feet higher than Niagara Falls. From Seattle, drive east on I-90 and take the Snoqualmie exit, then follow the signs to Snoqualmie Falls. You can view the falls at the observation deck. If you have an hour to spend and feel like stretching your legs, take the half-mile River Trail down to the base of the falls.
