The Roosevelt Arch
A landmark and symbol of Yellowstone Park was dedicated by President Theodore Roosevelt in April 24, 1903. The inscription at the top reads "For the benefit and enjoyment of the people". The arch is at the north entrance to the park on Highway 89 near the town of Gardiner. |
